Clinical Trials

All clinical trials at DuPont Clinical Research are free, and include medical and psychiatric testing at no charge. In addition, eligible participants will be paid for each office visit as travel compensation. No overnight stay is required, and health insurance is not necessary. Short descriptions of the studies are listed here. Please call for more information, since determining if a trial is right for you requires a thoughtful evaluation of the risks and benefits, as well as understanding the history of your problem and treatment.

Current studies for Bipolar Depression, Depression, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder are being conducted. See below for more information, or call the study coordinators at 301.231.9011.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Do you worry more than most people do? You could be a candidate to volunteer as a participant in a clinical research trial of a new investigational medicine for Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). People with GAD are bothered by worry more than other people. Other signs of GAD are

  • Irritability
  • Trembling or feeling shaky
  • Heart racing
  • Sweating

Help researchers stop the worry problem. See if this medicine will help with your worry.

"As you know (we) have contracted with an outside vendor for review of the recorded MINI interviews for the primary purpose of ensuring that high quality diagnostic interviews are conducted at all sites. Based on a review of several interviews, the reviewer found that the MINI interview was conducted as defined by the protocol and you adhered to the instructions contained in the MINI. In addition, you asked a sufficient number of probes to determine all diagnoses and did not inappropriately lead the patient. Congratulations on the high quality of the MINI interviews at your site."
