About DCR.
DuPont Clinical Research conducts clinical trials of investigational medication or new uses of medications already on the market. DCR specializes in testing medications for mood and anxiety disorder indications. A professional, dedicated staff is lead by Principal Investigator Caroline M. DuPont, MD, and the president of DCR. Dr. Caroline DuPont has been the Principal Investigator since 1998. Prior to her leadership, clinical trials were lead by Robert L. DuPont, MD. Dr. Robert DuPont was the Principal Investigator at this site for over 70 clinical trials, starting in 1982.

Psychiatrists:

Caroline DuPont, M.D. is the President and Principal Investigator of DuPont Clinical Research. She received her psychiatric training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where she continues to serve on the clinical faculty. A graduate of Georgetown University and the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. DuPont is a Board-Certified psychiatrist who conducts clinical research and has a private psychiatric practice. She is the author of numerous articles and several books on anxiety, and gives presentations about anxiety and depression.
Adelaide Sherwood Robb, M.D. has served for 12 years as a Research Investigator at DuPont Clinical Research and formerly at the Institute for Behavior and Health. She is Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Pediatrics, Children's National Medical Center and George Washington University and also maintains a private practice. She is board certified in psychiatry and Child and Adolescent psychiatry. She is the author of many articles.
Lisa Kim Chun, M.D. serves as a Research Investigator at DuPont Clinical Research. A native of Baltimore, she is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and of the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Chun is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University. She completed her psychiatric training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and is a Board-Certified psychiatrist.

Coordinators:

Elaine Chang, B.S. is a Clinical Research Coordinator for Dupont Clinical Research. She is a graduate of The University of Maryland at College Park from the School of Public Health where she received a Bachelor Science degree in the field of Family Science with a concentrated study in Psychology. Additionally, she has several years of practical experience in child development. She also is a classically trained pianist and privately teaches young children.
De'Quincey Stewart, B.S., B.S. serves as the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator for Dupont Clinical Research. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University where she received a degree in Biology and completed her post-baccalaureate studies at Howard University in the Physician Assistant Program in Primary Care. She has several years of clinical experience and serves as an adjunct professor at a local technical institute. In addition to her clinical expertise she has epidemiologic research experience in public health with concentration in HIV/AIDS.

Business Administration:

Angie Phalsaphie, M.S. is the accountant and office manager at DuPont Clinical Research. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she received professional training in HIPAA compliance in 2002.
Elizabeth DuPont Spencer, M.S.W. is the Vice-president of DuPont Clinical Research. A graduate of Columbia University and the University of Maryland School of Social Work, Mrs. Spencer also maintains a private clinical practice specializing in anxiety disorders in children and adults. She did her training at the National Institutes of Health and the Catholic University of America. An author and presenter about anxiety disorders.
